Second Saturday

Come shop, dine and unwind with us during our series of Second Saturday promotions, featuring sweets and treats from many of our local merchants. This shop small campaign is the perfect opportunity for visitors and locals alike to discover what's new in downtown Carlisle!

Mechanicsburg Art and Wine Walk
When: Saturday May 13th | 11AM - 4PM
Where: Buhrig's Gathering Place

Enjoy visiting 19 businesses, listening to more than 8 musicians, exploring art from over 21 local artists, and bidding in our silent auction!

The 21st Annual Mechanicsburg Art and Wine Walk on Saturday, May 13th from 11:00am - 4:00pm will take you on a self-guided stroll through our beautiful downtown borough! While on the wine trail, you will enjoy art, music, and wine tasting at some of the local downtown businesses.

Your ticket is in the form of a hand-painted wine glass. At check-in, you will receive your wine glass, a map of all tasting sites, a wristband, and everything you need to plan a memorable Mother's Day weekend experience!

Dog Mom Appreciation Day
When: Sunday May 14th | 10AM - 4PM 
Where: Three Dog Bakery - Mechanicsburg

As a way to appreciate the moms of both the human and furry varieties, while also fulfilling our love to support local rescues, come into the bakery on Mother’s Day to make a donation to Nirvana Animal Rescue and decorate a cute planter in return

Spring Market and Craft Show
When: Saturday May 13th | 10AM - 3PM

Where: Lewisburg Farmers Market

Saturday market and craft show! Live music, craft vendors, chicken bbq, and your favorite market vendors.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Hershey Lodge

When: Sunday May 14th | 10AM - 3PM

Where: Hershey Lodge

Let us do the cooking (and dishes) while mom enjoys a stress-free meal with the whole family. Mother's Day Brunch will be held in the Chocolate Ballroom at Hershey Lodge from 10 AM - 3 PM. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 717‑520‑5489 through 5 PM on May 9.

Mother's Day Tea Party

When: Saturday May 13th | 10:30AM

Where: 231 North St, Harrisburg
 

Join us for our Mother's Day Tea Extravaganza. Five courses of delectable treats and all the fixings with teas and, of course, some fun cocktails also.

There will be a 10:30 am and 1pm seating. Bring Mom, Sister, or your best gal pals for a lovely afternoon!

Saturday Afternoon Band Bash
When: Saturday May 13th | 2-5PM

Where: SpringGate Vineyard

We love local, live music, and we want everyone to enjoy the experience every weekend!

If you frequent SpringGate, you'll see that we've recently made some renovations to our Courtyard music stage! With the expansion, we're celebrating every Saturday afternoon from 2-5PM through the Summer

Band Bashes run parallel to our Bourbon Bash in the Brewery - also happening every Saturday from 2-5PM.

- Music is subject to move locations on the Estate dependent upon weather conditions

- All ages are welcome; anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian at all times

- We do not take reservations
 

Proper Motor Car Mixer: THE SEVENTIES

Break out your leisure suits, bell bottoms, platform shoes, and hot pants... the SEVENTIES ARE BACK! Join us in celebrating the music, disco, culture, and CARS of the funky and righteous seventies! Get your groove on out on the dance floor as our DJ spins your favorite tunes or kick back in Studio 40/50 with friends and enjoy the open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and delicious small plates!
