If you've been wondering what's actually happening in the Enola real estate market right now, the numbers are in, and they tell a pretty clear story. In August 2026, 29 homes closed in the Enola, PA area (including both East Pennsboro Townhip AND Hampden Township) and homes are moving fast.
Here's the full breakdown, straight from the MLS.
The Big Picture
A median of 6 days on market tells you everything you need to know about buyer demand right now, well-priced homes in Enola are not sitting around. If you're a seller wondering whether now's a good time to list, this is about as strong a signal as you'll get.
The bread-and-butter of the local market, established neighborhoods, a mix of ranches, twins, and traditional homes built anywhere from the early 1900s to the 2010s.
This one's worth watching closely if you're a buyer looking for new construction. Three brand-new townhomes on Rail Yard Dr all closed in August, and two of them sold in a single day.
Just next door in Hampden Township, two luxury homes closed in the Cumberland Valley school district, giving us a good comp for the top of the local market.
Worth noting: with only two sales, this is a small sample, so treat it as a data point rather than a definitive trend.
Not every home sells in a week. One property in this report (a 10-bedroom home on W Shady Ln) took 296 days to sell before closing at $435,000. That's a huge outlier compared to the 6-day median, and it's a good reminder that pricing, condition, and positioning matter enormously. A home that's priced or presented wrong can sit for months in a market where everything else is moving in days.
If you're thinking about selling and want a strategy that avoids that outcome, that's exactly what I help with.
If you're selling: With a 6-day median days on market, well-priced homes are moving quickly. This is a strong window to list — but pricing strategy still matters, as the 296-day example shows.
If you're buying: Be ready to move. Homes in this price range aren't lingering, especially new construction like the Rail Yard Dr townhomes. Get pre-approved and have a plan before you start touring.
If you're investing: The spread between the $108,000 value-add sale and the $500,000+ top end shows there's still room to find opportunity in this market if you know where to look.
