Guided Hike in Michaux

When: Sunday May 7th | 9AM

Where: Big Hill Ciderworks

Enjoy a morning hike from the taphouse into Michaux State Forest! Walk and talk all things cider with our owner/cidermaker - Troy Lehman. Troy grew up hiking through Michaux and still enjoys it to this day when he has a chance to get off the farm.

We’ll gather at the taphouse and leave at 9am. The hike will be roughly 2 hours in length and will cover between 5 and 7 miles - but the route is subject to change. Terrain is on pavement, gravel, double and single track trails with roughly 250’ or more in elevation change. The pace will be determined by the group and we will make sure everyone stays safe. There is a small creek crossing and the hike is through the forest. Be safe and have appropriate footwear as well as any insect repellent, sun block, water, snacks, or other items you may need.

West Shore Symphony Orchestra Free Concert

When: Saturday May 6th | 9:30AM

Where: Carlisle Theatre

Don't miss our free family concert, "Kaleidoscope of Sound," featuring the winners of our annual concerto competition: cellist Audrey Cherwinski & violinist Kellen Mikesell.

Our concert will be alive with color! You'll have a chance to make your own kaleidoscope, too! Learn about how instruments of the orchestra create sound textures.
